If you're anything like me you get really excited for for fall.... and pumpkins. There are so many creative things you can do with them and today I am sharing one easy and inexpensive way to spruce up your pumpkins.

Materials needed:

First I started out by covering the surface I was working on with paper (my husband despises glitter so I had to do everything I could to conceal the evidence). I then decided how I wanted to glitter my pumpkins. In the past I have covered the entire pumpkin with glitter, but I wanted these to be a little different so I chose to do a half and half, a diagonal and a triangle designs. I used the painters tape to tape off the clean straight lines. You do not have to use the painters tape, but I loved the crisp line it made with the glitter.

Next I took the Modge Podge (I used about 2 tbs mixed with 1/2 tsp of water to thin it out a bit) and I painted the Modge Podge on the areas I wanted the glitter to stick. Now the fun part.... I sprinkled the glitter on and then removed the tape about 1 minute later. I did some minor touch-ups with a wet Q-tip which is completely optional. I checked mine after about an hour and they were dry. That's it! Now you have some beautiful pumpkins to place around the house or on a table as a center piece all for about $20. The look especially pretty placed next to some candle light. Enjoy!
